ScoreCircle FAQ — Everything You Need to Know

ScoreCircle is a free Premier League game built around private groups called Circles. Inside your Circle you can play two games at once: predictions, where you call the exact score of every Premier League match, and fantasy, where you build a squad of real players and earn points from their actual performances. Everyone in your Circle competes on the same leaderboard, which updates live while matches are being played. There is no gambling, no subscription and no premium tier — the whole thing is free, for the whole season.

Go to sc.nokih.com and choose Join Free. You sign up with an email address and a password — that is genuinely all we ask for. There is no credit card step, because there is nothing to pay for, and the whole process takes about 90 seconds. Once you are in, you can create your first Circle straight away or join one a friend has invited you to.

From your account, tap Create Circle, give it a name (and an emoji, if you are feeling fancy), and ScoreCircle generates a private invite link. Copy that link into your group chat and you are done — as your mates click it and sign up, they land directly in your Circle and appear on the leaderboard. The whole job takes about a minute.

Yes — when they click your invite link they will be asked to create a free account, which takes under two minutes and needs nothing beyond an email address and a password. No credit card, no phone number, no forms. The invite link does the rest: as soon as their account exists, they are automatically added to your Circle.

Of course. If someone shares their Circle invite link or PIN with you, click the link (or enter the PIN when you sign up) and you are in. You can be in as many Circles as you like, so joining a friend’s Circle does not stop you creating your own with a different group.

For every Premier League match, you predict the exact score before kick-off. Each prediction locks when its match starts. Nail the exact scoreline and you take maximum points — 3 by default. Get the result right (win, lose or draw) without the exact score and you take 1 point. Get it wrong and you score nothing. Some Circles also enable a bonus tier for near-misses. The leaderboard updates live while matches are played, so a late goal can swing the whole table in real time.

You build a 15-player squad from the full Premier League within a £100.0m budget, with at most three players from any single club, then choose your starting XI and formation each gameweek. Your players earn points for goals, assists, clean sheets, saves and minutes played — and lose points for cards and own goals. You name a captain whose points count double, make transfers between gameweeks, and your total builds across the whole season.

Yes — that is exactly the point of ScoreCircle. Both modes are active in every Circle, and each member chooses whether to play one or both. Your Circle’s leaderboard shows both competitions clearly, so the mate who only does predictions and the one who obsesses over transfers each have a table to win.

Predictions lock match by match, at each game’s own kick-off. Any match you have not predicted when it kicks off simply scores zero for you — but the rest of the gameweek stays open, so if you miss Saturday’s early game you can still predict everything from the 3pm fixtures onward. No penalties, no catching-up mechanic; the next match is always a fresh chance.

When two players finish a round level, ScoreCircle breaks the tie in a fixed order: first by prediction points, then by the number of exact scorelines called, and finally by who submitted earliest — so decisiveness is rewarded when all else is equal. The same logic keeps season-long standings stable and fair.

Yes, and most players are. There is no limit to how many Circles you can join or create from one account. A typical setup is a work Circle, a family Circle and a mates Circle, all running at the same time — each with its own leaderboard, its own invite link and its own rivalry. Your predictions count in every Circle you belong to, so there is no extra admin.

No. Circles are private by design. The only leaderboards you can see are those of Circles you have joined, and the only people who can see your points are your fellow members. ScoreCircle has no public tables and does not publish player data anywhere.

Yes, at any time, from the Circle’s settings. Once you leave, you no longer appear on that Circle’s leaderboard and you stop seeing its members’ predictions and results. If you were invited by mistake, or the office Circle has become a little too competitive, leaving is one tap.

Yes — the Circle’s admin can rename it (and change its emoji) from the Circle settings at any point in the season. Points, members and history all carry over; only the name changes. Useful for when “The Lads” inevitably needs to become something printable.

There is no hard cap, but Circles work best between roughly 5 and 30 members: big enough for variety, small enough that everyone knows exactly who they are fighting for position with. If your group outgrows that, you can always split into divisions — new Circles are free and take a minute to set up.

Yes — completely and permanently. There is no subscription, no premium tier, no in-app purchases and no credit card required at any point. Predictions, fantasy, unlimited Circles and live scoring are all included, free, for all 38 gameweeks of the Premier League season. That is the deal, and it does not change after some trial period, because there is no trial period.

No — emphatically not. No money is staked, no money is won, and there are no prizes with monetary value. ScoreCircle is a free, skill-based game played for points and bragging rights inside your private Circle. Because no real money is involved, it is not gambling and does not require a gambling licence — and it stays that way by design.

The essentials to run the game: your email address for signing in, your display name, and the predictions and fantasy selections you make. Usage analytics help us understand what to improve. We do not sell personal data to third parties. ScoreCircle is built and operated in the UK and handles personal data in line with UK GDPR.

Yes. Only people who have joined your Circle — via its invite link or PIN — can see its leaderboard, members and predictions. There is no public directory of Circles and no way for strangers to browse your group. What happens in your Circle stays in your Circle, unless somebody screenshots it into the group chat, which, to be fair, is the entire point.

Send us a message using the Contact form in the app (Settings → Contact) asking for your account to be deleted, and we will remove your account and personal data within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR. If you only want a break, you can simply leave your Circles instead — your account will keep working whenever you come back.
